A Study Of Motivation Factors Which Influence The Performance Of Teachers In Primary Schools Under The Amnatcharoen Primary Educational Service Area Office
Abstract:
This research aimed to study and compare motivation factors which influence the performance of teachers in primary schools under the Amnatcharoen Primary Educational Service Area Office, classified by educational level and work experience. The samples consisted 327 teachers in primary schools under the Amnatcharoen Primary Educational Service Area Office by simple random sampling. This research instrument was a 5-rating scale questionnaire with a reliability of .91. The data were analyzed by using percentage, mean, Standard Deviation, and t-test.
The findings of the study reveal the following:
1. The motivation factors which influence the teachers performance were at high level in all 5 factors, as follows: the success of work, to be respected, responsibility, advancement, and nature of job, respectively.
2. Education level had influence on the teachers performance in the schools at .05 level of significance, the ones who had higher degree had more scores than Bachelor degree. Working experience had influence on the teachers performance in the aspects of responsibility, advancement, and nature of job at .05 level of significance, but had no influence in the aspects of to be respected and success of work. The ones who had more than 10 years of working experience had higher scores than less than 10 years.
