Abstract:
This research attempts to study the implication of sufficiency economy concept in daily life of residents in Si Racha District, Chon Buri Province. 400 residents residing in Si Racha District were selected with survey research method to be subjects in this quantitative research study. Questionnaire was used as a tool to collect the data. This study was conducted by selecting subjects and population, collecting, filing and analyzing the data. Then, the data were analyzed by SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) program. The statistics were frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. To test the hypothesis, t-test, One-Way ANOVA, and Pearson correlation were applied. The findings reveal that residents residing in Si Racha District, Chon Buri Province implemented three cycles, two conditions of sufficiency economy concept in overall at the high level. When considering in each aspect, condition aspect reached the highest level. Then, the rank went down to knowledge condition, ethic condition, good innate immunity, respectively. It was found that the implementation of sufficiency economy concept in Si Racha District, Chon Buri Province was at the highest level in overall. Considering in each aspect, the happiness of residents was at the highest rank, then the ranks were to saving money, increasing income, and strength of residents, respectively. The test of the hypothesis showed that subjects with different gender, age, and education applied sufficiency economy conceptdifferently. Subjects with different income and occupation implemented sufficiency economy conceptdifferently. In addition, the application of sufficiency economy concept in the aspects of good innate immunity, knowledge condition, and ethic condition related to the implication of sufficiency economy concept in daily life of residents in Si Racha District, Chon Buri Province.
