Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to survey the basic data concerning to the status and the problem in learning and teaching computer subjects according to the opinions of the vocational certificate students. These students are from 5 Vocational schools in Bangkok. The studies covered six sides. Which are the learner, the teacher, the contents, the learning and teaching activity, the learning and teaching material and the measurement and evaluation by using the questionnaire to research. This research has chosen the example groups who study computer subjects in the vocational certificate level, two hundred and seventy-seven third year students. It is found that the most students use computer for typing and they are poor in English and do not use computer at home. and there is a lack of places to study in order to increase their knowledge of computer. The two main problems that exist in this case (Computer study and teaching) are the learners and the learning and teaching materials. Other problems are intermediately the teachers, the lessons, the learning and teaching activities, and the measurement and evaluation. After considering the involvement (relationship) between the learners (male and female) and the periods of studying it isfound that this case mentioned is 0.05 statistically, level of significance none in varying problems. It indicates that the students both male and female and the study periods have not affected to the opinion expressions at all.
