Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to study the efficiency of projects activity to create mathematic experience concerning the amount for early childhood to compare with the result of normal activitysprogram.
Population were 15 students from second year kindergarten, ages between 5-6 years being study in Ban Thungrak Chaipat School, primary educational area, Phannga. And 15 students from Ban Bang Tip School, primary educational area, Phannga, were experimental group and controlling group respectively. The instrument used in this research were 10 learning plans by projects activity and 10 learning plans by normal program covered the fields of 5 fundamental mathematics skill. Competency was measured by pre-test and post-test, reliability was 0.83 Statistical analyses of data were defined by an average and standard deviation. Hypothesis testing was done to compare pre-test and post-test by t-test for dependent samples and ANCOVA.
The results found that the achievement of students learning with projects activity was increased significantly at .01 and higher than students learning with normal program significantly at .01
