Abstract:
The objectives of research were to 1) synthesize the educational quality of multicultural society for secondary schools in three southern border provinces, 2) investigate
needs, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of academic administration in multicultural society for secondary schools in three southern border provinces, and 3) formulate the academic administration strategies in enhancing the educational quality of multicultural society for secondary schools in three southern border provinces. The study was mixed method research.
The quantitative method was collected by questionnaire from populations of 46 schools
(138 informants), and analyzed the data by PNIModified analysis. The qualitative method was collected by 10 professionals in focus group discussion, 9 professionals by interview and 8 experts by meeting. The findings were:
1. the educational quality of multicultural society for secondary schools in three southern border provinces are proficiency, desirable characteristics and multicultural skills.
2. the needs (weaknesses) of academic administration in multicultural society for secondary schools in three southern border provinces to formulate the strategies consisted of 6 parts.
3. the academic administration strategies in enhancing the educational quality of multicultural society for secondary schools in three southern border provinces consisted of 6 main strategies were 1) learning and teaching in the school of multicultural society, 2) school curriculum development of multicultural society, 3) learning process development of multicultural society, 4) measurement, evaluation and achievement transferring of multicultural society, 5) guidance of multicultural society, and 6) promoting and supporting the academic for person, family, organization and other educational institutes of multicultural society.
