Abstract: การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาระดับแรงจูงใจในการปฏิบัติงานของพนักงานองค์การบริหารส่วนตําบลในเขตอําเภอพานทอง จังหวัดชลบุรี และเพื่อเปรียบเทียบแรงจูงใจในการปฏิบัติงานของพนักงานองค์การบริหารส่วนตําบลในเขตอําเภอพานทอง จังหวัดชลบุรี จําแนกตาม เพศ อายุ รายได้ ระดับการศึกษา ตําแหน่งปัจจุบัน ระยะเวลาในการปฏิบัติงาน โดยเก็บข้อมูลจาก พนักงานองค์การบริหารส่วนตําบลในเขตอําเภอพานทอง จังหวัดชลบุรี รวมทั้งสิ้น จํานวน 138 คน สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล คือ ค่าความถี่ ร้อยละ ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่าสถิติ (t-test) การวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว (One-way ANOVA) และทดสอบความแตกต่างรายคู่ด้วยวิธีของ เชฟเฟ่ (Scheffe') ผลการวิจัย พบว่า แรงจูงใจในการปฏิบัติงานของพนักงานองค์การบริหารส่วนตําบลในเขตอําเภอพานทอง จังหวัดชลบุรี ในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก โดยมีแรงจูงใจในการปฏิบัติงานด้านสภาพแวดล้อมในการทํางาน อยู่ในระดับมาก และมีแรงจูงใจในการปฏิบัติงานด้านความก้าวหน้าในตําแหน่งหน้าที่อยู่ในระดับน้อย ผลการเปรียบเทียบแรงจูงใจในการปฏิบัติงานของพนักงาน องค์การบริหารส่วนตําบลในเขตอําเภอพานทอง จังหวัดชลบุรี พบว่า พนักงานองค์การบริหารส่วนตําบลที่มี เพศ อายุ ระดับการศึกษา ตําแหน่งปัจจุบัน และระยะเวลาในการปฏิบัติงานต่างกันมีแรงจูงใจในการปฏิบัติงานไม่แตกต่างกันในทางตรงข้ามพนักงานองค์การบริหารส่วนตําบลที่มีรายได้ต่างกันมีแรงจูงใจในการปฏิบัติงานแตกต่างกัน อย่างมีนัยสําคัญทางสถิติ .05

Abstract: The purposes of this study were to investigate a level of work motivation among employees working for sub-district administrative organizations in Amphoe Panthong, Chon Buri Province and to compare the level of work motivation as classified by gender, age, amount of income, educational level, current position, and work length. The data were collected from 138 employees working for sub-district administrative organizations in Amphoe Panthong, Chon Buri Province. The statistical tests used to analyze the collected data included frequency, percentage, stand deviation, t-test, and One-way ANOVA. The test of Scheffe was also administered to test the differences between pairs. The results of this study revealed that the level of work motivation among employees working for sub-district administrative organizations in Amphoe Panthong, Chon Buri Province was at a very good level. While the aspect of work motivation in relation to work environment was rated at a high level, the one relating to job advancement was rated at a low level. In addition, based on the results from the comparisons, it was shown that there were no statistically significant differences in the level of work motivation among the subjects who had different gender, age, educational level, current position, and work length. Finally, a statistically significant difference was found in the level of work motivation among the subjects who had different amount of income at a significant level of .05.
