Abstract
This research aims at: 1) studying of exact noble ladies who had a significant part to the performing arts, and 2) studying of contribution toward performing arts of noble ladies by constrained to the Rattanakosin period and the royal duties of H.M. Queen Sirikit on performing arts since 1782 present (2016). This is the Qualitative Research, the information was collected via the means of observation and interview of 4 experts in the subject, 15performers, and 15 general people. The studied documents and information that were collected by thetools of observation and interviews leading to the presentation of a descriptive analysis of the retrieved results.
The research outcome suggests that 1)The noble ladies role to the performing arts, which can be divided into 5 different groups: 83 Performers; 71 Lecturers; 9 Producers; 6 Owners of a Drama Troupe and 9 Sponsors. According to the roles of noble ladies and the social changes, the status of female is much more acceptable than before. It is resulting the inheritance, invention, improvement and creativity in performing arts.The accomplishment in conservative and developing performing arts of the 6 noble ladies have been found2) H.M. Queen Sirikit has been intensively paying attention on performing arts which is considered as the national heritage of Thailand. This can be seen by the royal patronage in performing arts such as 1. Dance for the support arts 2. Dance for heroes or volunteer Dramatic Troupe under the patronage of the Queen 3. Jaturapark Traditional Dance 4. FonnDuangDuen 5. The Royal Khon Performance by which summarizing the roles of noble ladies resulting the contribution to performing arts. Namely, 1. The contribution through the conservative performing arts. 2. The contribution through the performing arts.
