Abstract:
The purposes of this study were to examine a level of public confidence in the performance of the Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) in Trat Province and to compare their level of confidence as classified by gender, age, educational level, occupation, and monthly income. The subjects participating in this study were 398 people living in Amphoe Mueang, Trat Province. The instrument used to collect the data was a questionnaire. The statistical tests used to analyze the collected data included frequency, percentage, t-test, and One-way ANOVA. The results of this study were as follows: 1. It was shown that the level of public confidence in the performance of the Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) in Trat Province was at a high level. Specifically, the aspect in relation to the prevention of corruption was rated the highest, followed by the aspects relating to the suppression of corruption, the inspection of assets and debts, respectively. All of these aspects were rated at a high level. 2. Based on the results from the comparisons, it was found that there were statistically significant differences in the level of confidence in the performance of the Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission(NACC) in Trat Province among the subjects with different gender, age, educational level, occupation, and amount of monthly income at a significant level of .05
