Abstract:
The purposes of this research is to synthesize of management competencies in management position and to study the composition of management competencies in management position which is important for construction machinery business: a case study of the Midori-Kai Group Thailand in two steps of Qualitative; 1) Documentary research and 2) In-depth interviews by Purposive random implemented with the first-line management, middle management, top management, and 12 people from expert Suppliers by Semi-Structured interview with content Analysis. The research found that The synthesize of management competencies in management position according to the concept of academia in 4 dimensions 1) the management competency 2) Human resource management competency 3) administration competency and 4) personal characteristics competency. The composition of management competencies which is important for construction machinery business: a case study of the Midori-Kai Group Thailand in 4 dimensions including 12 compositions and the first dimensions: the management competency visioning change management strategic plaining and strategic management organization developments negotiation and conflict management 2) Human resource management competency adaptability and flexibility professional managerial teamwork collaboration relationship assignment people development 3) administration competency achievement orientation decision, performance appraisal analytical thinking strategic thinking systematic thinking initiative managing resources, process arrangement customer service orientation 4) personal characteristics competency self-confidence adhering to ethical commitment to the work communication leadership stress management.
