Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to study personality factors of students who were studying in the field of computer in Rajabhat Institute, which consisted of Lanna, Northeastern and Southeastern Groups. The 2,784 respondents who filled out personality test were 1,143 male (41.04%) and 1,641 female (58.96%). An average of students age who filled out the personality test was 20 years and 6 months, and most of them were during 19 to 22 years old with a number of 2,420 (86.92%). Moreover, almost respondents participated in the personality test were 997 freshmen (35.80%). Data were collected by using the personality test NEO of Paul T. Costa and Robert R. McCrae which consisted of 5 factors of personality theorey; neuroticism, extraversion, openness to experience, agreeableness and conscientiousness. The data were analyzed and results were presented as Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, and Factor analysis. The results said that the students showed 3 personality factors which were openness, neuroticism and extraversion factors. Moreover, these personality factors revealed that students behavior were often presented.
