Abstract: การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์หลัก เพื่อเสนอการท่องเที่ยวเชิงศาสนาในศูนย์วิปัสสนาสากลไร่เชิญตะวัน จังหวัดเชียงราย โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เพื่อศึกษาบริบท และศักยภาพการท่องเที่ยวเชิงศาสนาในศูนย์วิปัสสนาสากลไร่เชิญตะวัน 2) เพื่อศึกษาแรงจูงใจและการรับรู้สื่อความหมายของผู้มาเยือนในศูนย์วิปัสสนาสากลไร่เชิญตะวัน 3) เพื่อกำหนดการท่องเที่ยวเชิงศาสนาในศูนย์วิปัสสนาสากลไร่เชิญตะวัน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ศักยภาพในการเป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวเชิงศาสนาจัดอยู่ในระดับมาก ด้านข้อมูลส่วนบุคคลของผู้มาเยือน ส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศหญิง ระดับการศึกษาอยู่ในระดับปริญญาตรี ด้านแรงจูงใจในการมาเยือนในศูนย์วิปัสสนาสากลไร่เชิญตะวัน ในระดับมากที่สุด ได้แก่ ต้องการเยี่ยมชมสถานที่ ต้องการฟังธรรมเทศนาจากท่านพระมหาวุฒิชัย วชิรเมธี ด้านการรับรู้ของผู้มาเยือนที่มีต่อระบบสื่อความหมายในศูนย์วิปัสสนาสากลไร่เชิญตะวัน อยู่ในระดับมาก อย่างไรก็ตาม พบว่า ผู้มาเยือนเข้าใจในปริศนาธรรมต่าง ๆ ที่อยู่ในไร่เชิญตะวัน แต่ยังมีผู้มาเยือนหลายท่านที่ไม่เข้าใจในปริศนาธรรมต่าง ๆ ด้านรูปแบบ I4As พบว่า ระบบสื่อความหมาย (I: Interpretation) เค้าโครงเรื่องในการสื่อความหมายหลักคือ “ไร่เชิญตะวัน: รับอรุณแห่งปัญญา” โดยมีการปรับปรุงด้านการสื่อความหมาย โดยใช้ตัวสื่อกลางในการช่วยอธิบายตัวสื่อความหมายหรือปริศนาธรรมในไร่เชิญตะวัน ส่วน 4As ได้แก่ ด้านสิ่งดึงดูดใจ (Attraction) ด้านการเข้าถึง (Accessibility) ด้านสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก (Amenity) และด้านกิจกรรม (Activity) ควรพัฒนาเพิ่มเติมและปรับปรุงตามความเหมาะสม เป็นรูปแบบการท่องเที่ยวเชิงศาสนาในศูนย์วิปัสสนาสากลไร่เชิญตะวัน"

Abstract: This research aims to offer Religious tourism in Rai Cherntawan International Meditation Center Chiang Rai Province. The objective is to 1) To study context and the potential for religious tourism in Rai Cherntawan International Meditation Center 2) To study motivations and perceptions in interpretation of visitor. 3) To determine the pattern of religious tourism in Rai Cherntawan international meditation center. The research found that the potential for religious tourism at a high level, personal information of visitors mostly are female and undergraduate. The most motivation of the visitors is want to visit Rai Cherntawan international meditation center and listening sermon from Phra Maha Wuttichai Wachiramedi. After analyzing the results of this research, in perception of visitors to the interpretive system in Rai Cherntawan international meditation center are in high level however, many of visitors cannot understand the Dhamma puzzle. In I4As model found that I=Interpretation the main interpretive theme of Rai Cherntawan international meditation center is “Light of Wisdom” by improving interpretation by using an interpretive media to explain Dhamma puzzles in Rai Cherntawan international meditation center. The 4As which includes A=Attraction, A=Accessibility, A=Amenity and A=Activity should be further developed and in accordance with appropriate to determine the pattern of religious tourism in Rai Cherntawan international meditation center. "
