Abstract:
This study aims to investigate factors related to acceptance in higher vocational certificategraduates in the field of Business Computer of Chetupon Commercial College under theDepartment of Vocational Education. The Sampling groups were 158 employers of the graduates.Data were analyzed by Mean Approximate of Population, Proportion Approximate ofPopulation, Variance Approximate of Population, Standard Error and Canonical Correlation. Theresults of this research indicated as follows: the factors of the acceptance consisted of 4 aspects:computer knowledge, computer skills, personality and ethic. According to the CanonicalCorrelation Analysis of the acceptance in the graduates, it found that in overall the employers hadopinions on the acceptance of the graduates in 5 steps at a high level. The Canonical analysisresults showed that there were 4 roots of significance: roots 1, 2, 3 and 4 in which there were 4steps on the acceptance in the graduates as knowledge phase, motivation phase, decision makingphase, and application phase. In addition, there were 14 independent variables which affecteddependent variables as follows: knowledge of data structure, knowledge of data processing,knowledge of program writing, knowledge of computer network, application of internet,application of operating system on windows, protection and security prevention of computer system,homepage making, leadership, self-discipline, creativity, honesty, endurance, diligence, kindness,sacrifice and loving their organization, and consciousness and responsibility.
