Abstract:
The purposes of this research were 1) to study the organizational commitment of the personnel who in the 202 Engineer Battalion at Surathampitak Camp, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. 2)To compare the opinions of the personnel classified by rank of class, affiliation unit and working duration. 3)To study the opinions and suggestions of the personnel to the organizational commitment in three aspects, namely belief in the goals and values of the organization, the willingness to work for the organization, and the need to maintain the membership of the organization. The sample group included two samples of respondents. The size of the sample employed the table of Krejcie Morgan. A sample of 196 people were selected by random stratified sampling and 14 officers consisted of 7 non-commissioned and 7 commissioned officers using interview Technique. The statistics used for data analysis were Frequency, Percentage and Standard Deviation. Compare the difference by using the T-Test and F-Test. The data collected by the interview using inductive analysis. The study found that Organizational commitment of forces at work in overall was at high level. When compared organizational commitment by rank of class, attention unit and working duration, it was found that there was no difference in overall aspect. Some suggestions were found as follows: Commanders should focus on the welfare of subordinates. Equality of forces should be provided at all levels. The opinions should be neutral. Subordinates performance should be trusted. Assigned duties and human rights gained from the risky works should be clearly acknowledged. There should be rewards for the performance. Problems and opinions should be informed. Battalions should be supported. And new battalions should be instilled good values."
