Abstract:
The aims of this research were to 1) study private school teachers
perspective on good governance and personnel administration of private school
administrators in Roi Et Province, and 2) build a prediction model for the personnel
administration of private school administrators in Roi Et Province. The samples were
284 private school teachers in Roi Et Province. The tool used to collect the data was
a five-point Likert scale questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed by using
descriptive statistics (frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation), and
Stepwise Multiple Regression.
The results of research showed that:
1. The participants responses on good governance and personnel
administration of private school administrators in Roi Et Province, in general was in
the level of much. The responses of each factor were ranked by its mean (from
the most to the least) as follow : Equity, Accountalrility, Rule of Law, Responsiveness,
Efficiency, Consensus Oriented, Effectiveness, Transparency, Decentralization, And
Participatory.
2. In building a prediction model to predict personnel administration of
private school administrators in Roi Et Province, Consensus Oriented (X10) was the best
prediction variable with statistical significance of .01, the multiple coefficient of .846
and the power of prediction of 71.5%. When adding additional prediction variables
into the model: Rule of Law (X8), Responsiveness (X3), Transparency (X5),
Accountalrility (X4), Participatory (X6), Equity (X9), and Decentralization (X7), the
models power of prediction increased to 86.5% with the statistical significance of
.01. The regressive coefficient of raw marks was .182, .156, .111, .114, .117, .085, .099
and .091 respectively. The regressive of standard marks was .218, .168, .116, .125,
.128, .097, .101 and .102 as order.
