Abstract: การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาความต้องการสวัสดิการสังคมของผู้สูงอายุ ในเขตองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลบ้านยาง อำเภอเมืองบุรีรัมย์ จังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ ใน4 ด้าน คือ ด้านสุขภาพอนามัย และการรักษาพยาบาล ด้านที่อยู่อาศัย ด้านการศึกษา และด้านรายได้ กลุ่มตัวอย่างได้จากการสุ่มจากประชากร โดยกำหนดขนาดของกลุ่มตัวอย่างตามตารางของ ทาโร่ ยามาเน ได้ขนาดกลุ่มตัวอย่าง จำนวน 316 คน แล้วทำการสุ่มให้กระจายไปตามหมู่บ้านต่าง ๆ ตามสัดส่วน โดยวิธีสุ่มอย่างง่ายด้วยการจับฉลาก เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลเป็นแบบสอบถามมี 3 ลักษณะ คือ แบบตรวจสอบรายการ แบบมาตราส่วนประมาณค่า 6 ระดับและแบบปลายเปิด ได้ค่าความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ 0.9223 สถิติพื้นฐานที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ความต้องการสวัสดิการสังคม ในเขตองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลบ้านยาง อำเภอเมืองบุรีรัมย์ จังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ โดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้าน พบว่า ทุกด้านอยู่ในระดับมากเช่นกัน โดยด้านที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงสุด ได้แก่ ด้านสุขภาพและการรักษาพยาบาล รองลงมา คือ ด้านรายได้ ส่วนด้านที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยต่ำสุด คือ ด้านการศึกษาตามลำดับ สำหรับความคิดเห็นและข้อเสนอแนะอื่น ๆ ที่มีจำนวนมากที่สุด คือ ควรจัดรถรับ-ส่งบริการที่มีจำนวลเพียงพอไปยังสถานพยาบาล รองลงมา คือ ควรจัดกิจกรรมวันสำคัญต่าง ๆ ของผู้สูงอายุ โดยเฉพาะวันผู้สูงอายุ และควรจัดกิจกรรมนันทนาการ การท่องเที่ยวสำหรับผู้สูงอายุบ้าง ตามลำดับ

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to study social welfare needs of the elderly Provided in the area of Ban Yang Sub-district Administrative, Muang District, Buriram Province in four aspects : Health and medical care, Housing and Education and Income. The samples consisted of 316 elderly people in the area of Ban Yang Sub-district Administrative Organization, specified by the table of Taro Yamane. The research instrument used for collecting the data was 3-part questionnaire, including check list, 6-rating scale, and open-ended form. It’s reliability was 0.9223. The statistics used for analyzing the collected data were percentage, mean and standard deviation. The results of this study revealed that: social welfare needs of the elderly in the area of Ban Yang Sub-district Administrative Organization, Muang District, Buriram Province were overall found at a high level. Having considered each aspect, it showed that all aspects were also found at a high level. Moreover, the aspect of Health and medical care was ranked at the average highest level and was followed by the aspect of Income while the aspect of education was found at the average lowest level. The following respective points were most recommended by the sample: First, there should be sufficient shuttle services to the nursing home. Secondly, there should be activities for elderly, especially elderly days, including recreational and tourist should be organized for the elderly respectively.
