Abstract:
The objectives of the study were to determine the levelof technicalstudentsself - discipline , to determine relations between student setfidiscipline andlearning achievement , and to find the suggestions for developing of technicalstudentsself - discipline . The sample of the study consisted of 40 administrators, 145instructors, and 364 students . These samples were h m technical colleges underDepartment of Vocational Education in Education Region 4 . The results of the studywere : 1) instructors opinion toward students self - discipline was the middle level while thestudentsopinion themselves were high level ; 2) the students self - disciplines were relatedto learning achievement . For example ? their self - disciplines were moderate level andlearning achievement was high level ; 3) the suggestions for self - discipline developmentwere as follows : a) in organizing student activities for students in which they should begiven an opportunity to show their abilities ; b) in teaching and learning , the instructorsshould behave as a model and come prepared forthe class ,and wllileteaching,theyshould not only emphasize subject matters but the moral and ethical ideas also.
