The Administrative Role of Higher Education and the Excellence of the Higher Education Institute of the Interdisciplinary Network of the Royal Institute of Thailand
Abstract:
This research objectives were 1) to study the state of administrative role of higher
education institute of the Interdisciplinary Network of the Royal Institute of Thailand. 2) to
study the excellence of higher education institute of the Interdisciplinary Network of the
Royal Institute of Thailand. 3) to study the relation between the state level of administrative
role of higher education and the excellence of higher level institutions of the
Interdisciplinary Network of the Royal Institute of Thailand. The research tools also include
of questionnaire and structural interview from 345 instructors and support educational
personnel. The data were analyzed by percentage, frequency, mean, standard deviation and
Pearsons Correlation Coefficient with the confident level at 95%.
The results of the study were 1) The state of administrative role of higher
education institute of the Interdisciplinary Network of the Royal Institute of Thailand
were a moderate rating as a whole, in sequence as academic administration, art and
culture administration, research administration, academic and social welfare, organizing,
and personal administration. 2) The excellence of higher education Institute of the
Interdisciplinary Network of the Royal Institute of Thailand were a moderate rating as a
whole, in sequence as academic administration, innovation, personal administration,
knowledge management, organizing, and educational administrator. 3) There were a
positive relation between the state level of administrative role of higher education and
the excellence of higher level institution, rating as a whole were a moderate to highest
(r=.469 to .897) that accept hypothesis. Especially the aspects of the state educational
administration role of higher education as organization, personal administration, and
research administration were positive relation to the excellence of higher education
institutions in aspects of educational administrator.
