Abstract:
The purposes of this research were : 1) to study the efficiency of the computer - assisted instruction on Basic Computer Programmed Writing for Matthayomsuksa 5 Students to meet the criteria at at 80/80 ; 2) to compare the leaning achievement of students between before and after learning by using the computer - assisted instruction on Basic Computer Programmed Writing for Matthayomsuksa 5 Students ; 3) to investigate the effectiveness index of the learning by using the computer - assisted instruction on Basic Computer Programmed Writing for Matthayomsuksa 5 Students ; and 4) to study the satisfaction of students towards learning by using the computer - assisted instruction on Basic Computer Programmed Writing for Matthayomsuksa 5 Students. The samples of this study comprised 45 Matthayomsuksa 5 Students of Muangtangpittayasan Shool in Prakhonchai district, Buriram province under Secondary Education Service Area Office 32 studying in the second semester of academic year 2015, selected by simple random sampling. The research instruments consisted of : 1) a ast of the computer - assisted instruction on Basic Computer Programmed Writing for Matthayomsuksa 5 students ; 2) 4 lesson plans on Basic Computer Programmed Writing for Matthayomsuksa 5 students ; 3) a 30-item achievement test with 4 multiple-choice the computer - assisted instruction on Basic Computer Programmed Writing for Matthayomsuksa 5 students with the difficulty between 0.28 to 0.73, the discrimination between 0.20 to 1.00 and the reliability of 0.938 ; and 4) a 14-item with 5-rating scale questionnare asking the students satisfaction. The statistice for data analyssis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, E.../E and E.I. The hypothesis was tested by using the dependent sampie t-test.
The results were as follows:
1. The effciency of the computer - assisted instruction on Basic Computer Programmed Writing for Matthayomsuksa 5 students was 88.56/84.96 which was higher than the criteria set at 80/80
2. The student learning achievement after learning by using the on Basic Computer Programmed Writing for Matthayomsuksa 5 students was higher than before learning at the significant difference level of .05.
3. The effectiveness index of learning by using the computer - assisted instruction on Basic Computer Programmed Writing for Matthayomsuksa 5 students was 0.7488 which revealed that the students learning achievement increased 74.88%.
4. The satisfaction of student towards learning by using the computer - assisted instruction on Basic Computer Programmed Writing for Matthayomsuksa 5 students as whole was at the highest level.
