Abstract:
This research aimed to study the opinion level of students and their parents towards factors affecting choosing tutorial secondary school in Bangkok. The research samples were 400 people including students and parents. Questionnaire was used to collect data. The statistics applied for analyzing data were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and factor analysis. The research findings indicated that the most three factors that parents gave priority were product, physical evidence, and personal and process. While, the students thought the most important factors were personal, product, and physical evidence respectively. For internal and external factors, attitude came first and economy came the second for both parents and students. When testing the hypotheses, parents and students were having no different opinions on all aspects. In addition, further analysis from factor analysis found that marketing promotion was the most important factor for parents while it was least important for students. The most important factor for student was personal. The least important factor for parents was process.
