Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to examine the participation level on school administration of the teachers under the jurisdiction of the Vocational College, Central Region 3. It also aimed to compare the participation level on school administration of the teacher as classified by position. The school administration tasks were academic, educational support, students affairs, and planning and development affairs. The research samples, derived from a simple random sampling, consisted of 3 16 teachers from 16 colleges under the jurisdiction of the Vocational College, Central Region 3 in Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya, Ang Thong, and Singhaburi provinces. The data were collected by a checklist and rating scale questionnaire and were analyzed using SPSS for Windows Version 12 by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and One - way Analysis of Variance.
The research results were found that :
1. The participation level on school administration of the teachers was found at a low level whether it was analyzed as a whole or individually.
2. The participation level on school administration of the teachers with different positions was found different with statistical significance at .05 as followed :
2.1 The participation level on school administration in academic affair between the head of the faculty and the department head, and between the head of the faculty and the task head was found different with statistical significance at .05
2.2 The participation level on school administration in educational support, and students affairs between the department head and the task head was found different with statistical significance at .05.
2.3 The participation level on school administration in planning and development affair between the head of the faculty and the department head, and between the department head and the task head was found different with statistical significance at .05
