Abstract:
Purposes : 1. To study types of child rearing practices and their levels in using moral reasoning of Prathom three students in Udon Thani province. 2. To compare the levels in using moral reasoning of different Types of child rearing practices of Prathom three students in Udon Thani province. 3. To compare the levels in using moral reasoning between male and female students from the same Type of child rearing practice of Prathom three students in Udon Thani province. Research Procedures 1. Interview the selected sample in or.der to classify three of child rearing practices namely, Democratic type, Autocratic type and Laissez faire Type. Then, test the levels in using moral reasoning of the sample. 2. Compare the levels in using moral reasoning of three types of child rearing practices by using F-test. 3. Compare the levels in using moral reasoning between male and female students under the same type of child rearing practice by using t-test. Major Findings : 1. Significant differences were found at .05 level from The levels in using moral reasoning among Prathom three students who were reared under different types of child rearing practices. Students from Democratic and Autocratic child rearing practices gained higher mean (x ̅) from the levels in using moral reasoning than students from Laissez faire child rearing practice. As for students from Democratic and Autocratic child rearing practices, they obtianed same range of mean (x ̅) from the levels in using moral reasoning. 2. No significant differences were found from the levels in using moral reasoning between male and female students who were reared under the same type of child rearing practice.
