Abstract:
This research aimed to study the level of peoples participation in environmental operational management of Bangphra Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Sriracha District in Chonburi, and to compare the level of peoples participation in environmental operational management of Bangphra Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Sriracha District in Chonburi categorized by personal factors. The samples are 380 people of the total population of 7,704 families living in Bangphra Subdistrict, and they were selected by YamaneSampling Technique (Yamane, 1973). Questionnaires were used as a tool in this research. Data were statistically analyzed by frequency, percentage, average, and standard deviation. The results of the research showed that peoples participation in environmental operational management of Bangphra Subdistrict Administrative Organization, was at an overall middle level. In regard to peoples participation, operation and benefits gained are the factors that people most participate in at a high level respectively; however, participation in evaluation and planningis at a lower level sequentially. The testing of the hypothesis found that people of different sex and income related to differences in peoples participation in environmentall operational management of Bangphra Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Whereas differences in educational background, profession, domicile, age, and marital status didnot relate to peoples participation in environmentall operational management of Bangphra Subdistrict Administrative Organization, with the level of statistical significance set at .05.
