The objectives of thisresearchwere; 1) to examine discourse analysis of folk songs, 2) to examine the construction of discourse terms Chóo (paramour) reflected via folk songs, 3) to examine how to use of recognition space terms Chóo (paramour) in folk songs. The discourse data had appeared in Thai folk songs and Thai Isan folk songs which composed of Chóo oriented content in the period of 2007 2014 by using the concepts of discourse and discourse analysis as guidelines. The result showed that the songs presented a story of one man and one woman who had sexual conception, ambition, and desire as main concerns. They tried to break a tradition and value frames set up by the society. It was communicated through songs by using sexuality, status of Chóo (paramour) person in the society as well as culture and social norm which control over those people. Therefore, the issue of Chóo (paramour) presented via the songs was just a reproduction of idea to reflect the value of the a person who was labeled as Chóo (paramour).
