Abstract:
This survey research was conducted to study exercise behaviors of undergraduate students of Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University and to compare the relationship between knowledge aspects and exercise perceptions which were exercise knowledge, exercise benefit perception, barrier perception, health status perception, information support with exercise behaviors of undergraduate students of Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University. The samples with the simple random were 370 undergraduate students of Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University based on Krejcie and Morgans stratified random 40 question. Questionnaires were used to collect data with discrimination between .26 and .53. The reliability of questionnaires was .83. Percentage, Standard deviation, t-test, F-test, One-way-Analysis of Variance, LSD Method, Pearson product moment correlation coefficient and Stepwise multiple regression analysis were applied for data analysis.
The results were as follows :
1.The undergraduate students of Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University had exercise behaviors, exercise knowledge, barriers perception, health status perception, information support at moderate level, but exercise benefit perceptions was at a high level.
2.The undergraduate students with different sex and faculty had significantly difference in exercise behaviors at .05 level.
3.The knowledge concerning exercise was not related with exercise behaviors of
the undergraduate students.
4.The exercise benefit perception, health status perdeption, and information support
were positively related to exercise behaviors of the undergraduate students at .05 level. The barrier perceptions were negatively related to the exercise behaviors of the undergraduate students significantry at .05 level.
5.The barrier perception, sex, faculty, and health status perception could predict the
exercise behaviors of the undergraduate students at 18.6 percent . It was shown with ..as
