Internet Acceptance of The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration's Civil Officials A Case Study of 50 District Offices of The Bangkok Metropolitan administration
Abstract:
The objective of this research was to study internet acceptance of civil servants in BangkokMetropolitan. Sampling groups were collected by the Stratified Random Sampling from the civilservants in 50 districts of Bangkok Metropolitan with a number of 6,920 persons. The samplinggroups calculated by Proportional to Size from its population were 505 persons. This research useda questionnaire as a tool in the study to collect data. Data were analyzed by Frequency, Percentage,Means, Standard Error of Mean, Factor Analysis Methods and Canonical Correlation Analysis.The research results indicated as follows: The civil servants in Bangkok Metropolitan had problemabout internet system at a medium level (Mean = 5.58 , S.E. = 0.11). They agreed on the InternetAcceptance at a high level (Mean = 6.25 , S.E. = 0.10). The modern and work efficiency attitudewere factors that effected the internet acceptance in Awareness level. The internet users problemeffected the internet acceptance in Trial level. In Interest level, Evaluation level and Adoption levelthere were no factors that effected the Internet Acceptance.
