Development of Multimedia for enhancing second years Nursing Students Knowledge in The Basic Anatomy of Human Skeletal System at University of Phayao.
Abstract:
This Quasi experimental research was one group pretest-posttest design for development multimedia for enhancing second years nursing students knowledge in the human skeletal system at University of Phayao. Thirty nursing students purposive sampling were recruited subjects, that the sample size is calculated by the power of the test to determine a statistically significant eighty percent of that .05, significant, effect sizes for testing at the middle level (about .50). Four Questionnaires for collected; demographic data, multimedia instrument, pre-posttest and satisfaction after learning this lesson. The reliability as well as 0.89. The dependent samples t-test compared mean score between groups. The 80/80 standard based on the E1/E2 formula was used to determine the efficiency.
Results showed most of the sample was ninety percent female, average age 20.3 years (SD = 0.47, range = 20-21) grade point average in the range of 2.5-3.82 (M = 3.13, SD = 0.30) after learning the average score. Multimedia is higher than the average score before the study was statistically significant at the .05 level. The performance of the media. 81.89 / 84.47, which was supposed to base research. The samples are satisfied to use media skills anatomy of the human skeletal system overall was high (M = 4.28, SD = 0.42).
Conclusion and Recommendations; This research study sample, the Faculty of Nursing should be a research student groups involved in health sciences in order to compare the performance of the media and develop even further.
