The Academic Administration of School Administrators as Perceived by Teachers in Taling-Chan Network Center under Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 2
Abstract:
This study aims to (1) study the academic administration of school administrators as perceived by teachers in Taling-Chan network center under Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 (2) compare the academic administration of school administrators as perceived by teachers in Taling Chan network center which classified by gender, educational level, and work experience, and (3) process the suggestions given by teachers concerning academic administration of school administrators as perceived by teachers in Taling Chan network center under Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 2.The samples were 141 teachers collected from 8 schools in Taling Chan network center under Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. Proportional Stratified Random Sampling was firstly used and followed by Simple Random Sampling for using drawing lots. Questionnaires were used to collect data. Data were analyzed by using computer software. Statistics used included percentage, mean, standard deviation, t- test (t- test) and test F (F - test). If the differences were found, the Schaffer's Method would be brought into account to compare them.
The independent study found that
1.The overall result of the level of academic administration of school administrators as perceived by teachers in Taling Chan network center under Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 was at a high level. When each aspect was considered, the measurement,evaluation, and credit transferring gained the highest average. Learning process development and local curriculum development gained the average respectively.
2. The comparative results of the academic administration of school administrators as perceived by teachers in Taling Chan network center under Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 classified by gender, educational background and working experience.
3. The suggestions regarding the academic administration of school administrators as perceived by teachers in Taling Chan network center under Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 were that the administrators should have planned the academic activities. Also, they should develop or develop the local curriculum on the basis of the opinions given by any sectors and the educational supervision should be conducted periodically.
