The Relationship Between the Profitability and the Return Rate from the Share Price Differences of Those Energy and Utilities Companies with TheStock exchange of Thailand
Abstract:
This Paper aimed to examine the relationship between the profitability and
the return rate from the share price differences ratio of those energy and utilities Companies registered with the Stock Exchange of Thailand and to test the Predictive model that suit those energy and utilities companies. The data was collected from 17 Energy and Utilities Companies listed in Stock exchange of Thailand. The instrument used in this study is correlational equation analysis model.
The research findings indicate that
1) There was significant relationship between Return on Asset (ROA) and the
Share Price Differences Ratio at 0.05 of MDX Public Company Limited and Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Holding Public Company Limited.
2) There was significant relationship between Return on Equity (ROE) and the
Share Price Differences Ratio at 0.05ofMDX Public Company Limited.
3) There was significant relationship between Net Profit Margin (NPM) and
the Share Price Differences Ratio at 0.05 of Demco Public Company Limited, Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Holding Public Company Limited and Electricity Generating Public Company Limited.
4) There was significant elationship between Operating Income Margin (OIM)
and the share price differences ratio at 0.05 in Demco Public Company Limited, and Electricity Generating Public Company Limited.
5) The Predictive model is suitable to be applied in making decision for
Investment in the MDX Public Company Limited, Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Holding Public Company Limited, Demco Public Company Limited, and Electricity Generating Public Company Limited.
