Transformational Leadership of the Basic School Administrators under the Office of Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 Yala Muang District Yala Province
Abstract:
The objectives of this independent study were 1) to study the level of
transformational leadership of the basic school administrators under the office of Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 Yala Muang District Yala Province, 2) to compare the level of transformational leadership of the basic school administrators under the office of Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 Yala Muang District Yala Province, classified by variant of the gender, the working experience and the size of schools, and 3) to compile problems and suggestions in transformational leadership of the basic school administrators under the office of Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 Yala Muang District Yala Province. The samples were 279 of teachers, under Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 Yala Muang District Yala Province. The tool used in this independent study was questionnaire and the reliability was at 0.991. Data analysis was processed by Statistical package. Statistical data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and f-test by Scheffes Method.
The results were as the followings
1. The overall level of transformational leadership of the basic school
Administrators under the office of Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 Yala Muang District Yala Province was at a high level.
2. The comparative results in transformational leadership of the basic school
administrators under the office of Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 Yala Muang
District Yala Province - classified by the variants of the gender and the working experience found that both overall and each aspect were not different and classified by the size of schools found that the level of transformational leadership of the basic school administrators in large size schools are higher than the medium sized andthe small sized schools at a significant level of 0.05.
3. The problems concerning about the transformational leadership of the
Basic school administrators under the office of Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 Yala Muang District Yala Province found that the administrators balanced their authority unjustly. The administrators assigned the wok overload for specific persons. The administrators did not have the serious supervision and it was discontinuous.
For the suggestions, the administrators should balance the fairness and justice
For everyone. The administrators should listen for the different opinions. The administrators should provide benefits and opportunities for everyone equally. The administrators should give the up-to-date and continuously instructional supervision.
