The implementation process of the lower secondary school under the democratization of secondary education program : a case study of Nnabuawithaya school, Changwat Phitsanulok
Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to study the management strategies, problems and solutions of the project implementation in Nabuawittaya School selected as a model school for the expanding access project in the school year 1988 in Changwat Phisanulok. A case study method was selected as a tool for the research. The results of the study revealed that there were 8 most successful activities, 8 quite successful activities and 3 less successful activities among those of 19 activities in 5 strategies of the project. Moreover, it was founded that the factors effecting the success of the project implementation were: planning, organizing, directing, co-ordinating, monitoring and administrators attentive participation. The factors related to those of less successful activities were staff insufficiency and staff's inefficient skills in writing project proposals, in producing program learning, in organizing learning units and in organizing the unfamiliar semi-formal school.
