Abstract: การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1. ศึกษาบริการและกิจกรรมส่งเสริมการอ่านและการเรียนการสอนของห้องสมุดกลุ่มโรงเรียนประถมศึกษา สังกัดสำนักงานการประถมศึกษาจังหวัดปัตตานี โดยพิจารณาถึงวัตถุประสงค์ของการจัดผู้รับผิดชอบ ลักษณะและประเภทของการบริการความถี่ในการจัดกิจกรรมและปัญหาที่เกิดขึ้น 2. ศึกษาความต้องการของบรรณารักษ์ห้องสมุดโรงเรียนประถมศึกษาที่มีต่อบริการและกิจกรรมส่งเสริมการอ่านและการเรียนการสอนที่ห้องสมุดกลุ่มโรงเรียนประถมศึกษาจัดขึ้น ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ว่า วัตถุประสงค์ในการจัดบริการและกิจกรรมของห้องสมุดกลุ่มโรงเรียนประถมศึกษา เพื่อเป็นแหล่งค้นคว้าของครูและนักเรียนโดยมีบรรณารักษ์ห้องสมุดกลุ่มโรงเรียนประถมศึกษาและคณะทำงานที่ได้รับการแต่งตั้งจากคณะกรรมการกลุ่มโรงเรียนเป็นผู้รับผิดชอบ ลักษณะของบริการของห้องสมุดกลุ่มโรงเรียนประถมศึกษาเป็นการให้ความรู้และคำแนะนำได้มารับใหม่ๆ และให้คำปรึกษาเกี่ยวกับการบริการและกิจกรรมของห้องสมุด ประเภทบริการของห้องสมุดกลุ่มโรงเรียนประถมศึกษาที่เหมาะสมมี 9 ประเภทคือ การบริการห้องสมุดเคลื่อนที่ (กระเป๋าหนังสือ) การเล่านิทาน การประกวดการเล่าเรื่องจากหนังสือ การสาธิตแนะนำหนังสือ การวาดภาพระบายสี การทายปัญหาจากหนังสือ เกมการศึกษาและการจัดนิทรรศการ ความถี่ในการจัดบริการและกิจกรรมที่จัดทุก 2 สัปดาห์และทุก 1 เดือนคือ การบริการห้องสมุดเคลื่อนที่ (กระเป๋าหนังสือ) จัดทุก 1 ภาคเรียนคือการสาธิตแนะนำหนังสือ จัดทุก 1 ปีการศึกษาคือการโต้วาที และบริการและกิจกรรมที่จัดน้อยที่สุดคือ ห้องสมุดเสียง ปัญหาที่มีต่อการจัดบริการและกิจกรรมคือขาดงบประมาณและบุคลากร ความต้องการของบรรณารักษ์ห้องสมุดโรงเรียนที่มีต่อบริการและกิจกรรมส่งเสริมการอ่านและการเรียนการสอนที่ห้องสมุดกลุ่มโรงเรียนประถมศึกษาจัดขึ้นคือต้องการให้บรรณารักษ์ห้องสมุดกลุ่มโรงเรียนประถมศึกษานำความรู้ใหม่ๆ ที่ได้รับจากการจัดบริการและกิจกรรมมาแนะนำ และปรับปรุงบริการและกิจกรรมบางประเภทที่ไม่สามารถสร้างความสนใจในการใช้ห้องสมุดและกิจกรรมส่งเสริมการอ่าน

Abstract: The main purposes of this research are: 1. To study library services and activities of elementary school library clusters under the jurisdiction of the Pattani Provincial Primary Education office in terms of their objectives; organizers; types; characteristics and frequency of services provided and their problems. 2. To study the needs of elementary school librarians toward the library services and activities for studying, teaching and reading promotion arranged by the elementary school library clusters. The result are as follows: The major objective of library services and activities provided by the elementary school library clusters is to be the research and learning resources for students and teachers. Librarians of the school library clusters and the task force appointed by School Library Clusters Committee are taking full responsibility. Services are characterized as giving knowledge, modern suggestion and consultation about the library services and activities. Nine services and activities are considered suitable : bookmobile services (the compact book boxes), story telling, booktalk contests, book suggestions, drawing and painting, book answering contests, educational games and exhibitions. Bookmobile services are frequently arranged every 2 weeks and every month. Book suggestion is arranged every semester and debates are regularly arranged in every academic year. The least arranged services is sound library. The major problems encountered are the lack of budget and personnel. The needs of elementary school librarians toward library services arranged by the elementary school library clusters are advice of the current knowledge about library services and activities provision. In addition, they wish the services and activities provided could be improved to motivate interest in library usage and reading promotion.
