Abstract:
This paper reports the operational experience with a 2.12 kWp PV Roof Top Grid-Connected Power System which has been installed at a residence in Bangkok since January 1998. The average PV yield during the first three years was about 3 kWh/Kwp/Day lower than the expected yield of about 3.3 kWh/kWp/Day. In the years 2001 and 2002, the PV yield dropped to about 2.6 kWh/kWp/Day. Some figure malfunctions of the system were observed, which might be the cause of lower PV yield. To find the reasons behind these results, future study of this system will be necessary
