The development of supplementary exercises for writing skills in the word spelling that not in accordance with the the Thai language spelling system for Prathomsuksa 3 students
Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to develop supplementary exercises for writing skills in the word spelling that not in according with the Thai language spelling system for prathomsuksa 3 students. The sample in this research were 20 prathomsuksa 3 students studying in the first semester of the academic year 2012 at Ban Banokta School in Wanorn Niwat district, Sakonnakhon province under the office of Sakonnakhon primary Educational Service Area 3, selected by Cluster Random sampling. The research instruments were 6 supplementary exercises for writing skills in the word spelling that were not in accordance with the Thai language spelling system, including 20 items of four multiple choices achievement test. The reliability of the test was 0.90. The statistics used to analyze data were mean, percentage and standard deviation. The result revealed that the supplementary exercises for writing skills in word spelling that were not in accordance with the Thai language spelling system for Prathomsuksa 3 students had an efficiency equal to 82.83/86.25 which attained the criteria.
