Relationships between background and personal expenses of home economics students in the institute of technology and vocational educaiton, Bangkok metropolis
Abstract:
This research was designed to :- 1. Study backgrounds and personal expenses of Home Economics students in The Institute of Technology and Vocational Education, Bangkok Metropolis. 2. Compare their backgrounds and personal expenses. 3. Find relationships between their backgrounds and personal expenses. A sample was 804 students and 80 teachers were randomly selected from two levels; Certificate in Vocational Education and Higher Certificate in Vocational Education, in academic year 1982. Data were collected by means of questionnaires. In analyzing the data analyzed by Percentage, t-test, One Way Analysis of Variance and Chi-square test. The result were : 1. The personal expenses of Certificate in Vocational Education student was 8,122.28 baht and Higher Certificate in Vocational Education was 8,570.60 baht a term. 2. Higher Certificate in Vocational Education students spent significantly higher than Certificate in Vocational Education students at the .01 level. 3. The students whose different backgrounds, such as domiciles, parents career, parents income and parents education spent significantly difference at the .01 level. 4. The student who studies in different colleges spent no significantly difference at the .01 level. 5. The students backgrounds, such as domiciles, parents career, parents income and parents education were significantly related with personal expenses at the .01 level.
