Abstract:
This research uses qualitative and quantitative methods, aims to develop the school lunch project model for sustainable in basic education school. The researcher did 3 steps: The first step; find out the state of the school lunch project by studying the related literature to the school lunch project; surveying from 379 school administrators using a questionnaire; and interviewing with 13 experts. The second step; develop the school lunch model for sustainable in basic education school, using focus group with 9 experts. And the last step; evaluate the developed model by surveying from 379 school administrators using a questionnaire.
The research results revealed as follows:
1. The status of the school lunch project was at a high level in every aspect.
2. The developed school lunch project model for sustainable in basic education school composes of 4 components: input, process, output, and environment. Input comprises 1) personnel: school board committee, school administrators, and teachers. Process comprises 1) planning, 2) organization setting, 3) operation, and 4) co-operation. Output comprises 1) opportunity for getting the service, 2) the status of the students nutrition, and 3) efficiency management.
3. The developed model has possibility at a high level and had utility at the highest level.
