Abstract: วัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัย เพื่อศึกษาความสามารถในการคิดแบบเอกนัยทางสัญลักขณ์ กับการแก้ปัญหาโจทย์คณิตศาสตร์ ของนักเรียนชั้นประถมปีที่ 2 และเพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างความสามารถในการคิดแบบเอกนัยทางสัญลักขณ์ กับการแก้ปัญหาโจทย์คณิตศาสตร์ วิธีดำเนินการวิจัย ผู้วิจัยสร้างแบบสอบขึ้น 2 ฉบับ คือ แบบสอบความคิดเอกนัยทางสัญลักษณ์ กับแบบสอบโจทย์ปัญหาคณิตศาสตร์ ซึ่งได้ผ่านการตรวจสอบจากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิและทดลองสอบนักเรียนแล้ว ได้ค่าความเที่ยงของแบบสอบ ซึ่งหาโดยใช้สูตร คูเดอร์ - ริชาร์ดสัน 20 ( Kuder – Richardson 20 ) เท่ากับ .823 และ .844 ตามลำดับ กลุ่มตัวอย่างประชากรที่ใช้ทดสอบเป็นนักเรียนชั้นประถมปีที่ 2 ของโรงเรียนในสังกัดกองการประถมศึกษา กรมสามัญศึกษา กระทรวงศึกษาธิการ จำนวน 8 โรง รวมตัวอย่างของประชากรทั้งหมด 240 คน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยทดสอบค่าที ( t - test ) วิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว ( One - way Analysis of Variance ) ทดสอบความแตกต่างระหว่างค่ามัชฌิมเลขคณิตเป็นรายคู่ โดยวิธีที ( T - Method ) และหาค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์แบบเพียร์สัน ( Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient ) ผลการวิจัย 1. นักเรียนมีความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาโจทย์คณิตศาสตร์ ด้านการวิเคราะห์ปัญหากับด้านการนำไปใช้ ต่างกันที่ระดับความมีนัยสำคัญ .01 โดยนักเรียนมีความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาด้านการนำไปใช้สูงกว่า ส่วนความสามารถในการคิดแบบเอกนัยทางสัญลักขณ์ พบว่านักเรียนมีความสามารถในการคิดแบบเอกนัยทางสัญลักขณ์แตกต่างกัน ระหว่างความสัมพันธ์กับการแปลงรูป และด้านระบบ กับการแปลงรูป ที่ระดับความมีนัยสำคัญ .01 และ.05 ตามลำดับ โดยนักเรียนมีความสามารถในการคิดแบบเอกนัยแบบสัญลักขณ์ ด้านความสัมพันธ์มากที่สุดและด้านการแปลงรูปน้อยที่สุด 2. ความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาโจทย์คณิตศาสตร์ กับความสามารถในการคิดแบบเอกนัยทางสัญลักขณ์ มีความสัมพันธ์ต่อกันในทางบวก โดยมีค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์เท่ากับ .496

Abstract: Purposes The purposes of this research were to study the symbolic convergent thinking and the mathematical problem solving ability of Prathom Two students, and to study the relationships between the symbolic convergent thinking and the mathematical problem solving ability. Procedures Two tests were constructed by the researcher, the first test was the symbolic convergent thinking test and the second was the mathematical problem solving test. The tests were examined by the experts and were used to test in order to develop the tests The reliability coefficient of the first test was .823 and the second test was .844. The tests were administered to 240 Prathom 'two students of eight schools that are in the Division of Elementary Education, Department of General Education, Ministry of Education. The t - test, One-Way Analysis of Variance, T - Method and Pearson's Product Moment Correlation Coefficient were used for analyzing the data. Results The major findings of this research were as followed; 1.The ability to analyse and apply the mathematical problem solving were significatly different at the .01 level. There were significant differences between the symbolic convergent thinking in the form of relations and transformations at the .01 level, in the form of systems and transformations at the .05 level. 2.The correlation coefficient between the mathematical problem solving ability and the symbolic convergent thinking were .496.
