Abstract:
This research aimed to study satisfaction of young children parents with the Child Development Center management in Klongyai district, Chanthaburi province by gender, age, education, occupation, and income from 112 parents of children in the child development centers. An instrument used in collecting data was a 5-rating scale questionnaire with a reliability of 0.95. The data were analyzed by percentage, mean, Standard Deviation, t-test, One-Way ANOVA, and examine the different pairs using the LSD.
The results showed as follows:
1. The parental satisfaction with the child development center management in overall was at a high level. Considering each aspect found 2 aspects were at a high level: personnel aspect; and academic and activity aspect. The other 3 aspects were at a moderate level: a center management aspect; building, environment, and safety aspect; and participating and supporting aspect, respectively.
2. Male and female parents with different age had no significantly difference in their opinion, but different education level, profession, and income had their opinions difference at .05 level of significance.
3. The suggestions were that the child development center should have clean toilet and wash-basin enough for their children; the child development center should be separated from other; and should provide several modern learning materials, such as novels, computer, Internet, etc.
