Abstract: การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมาย เพื่อศึกษาการจัดสภาพการศึกษาและการเลี้ยงดูเด็กอายุแรกเกิด ถึง 3 ปี ในสถานรับเลี้ยงเด็กเอกชน กรุงเทพมหานคร จากการส่งแบบสอบถามให้กับผู้ประกอบการสถานรับเลี้ยงเด็ก และครู หรือพี่เลี้ยงเด็ก และจากที่ผู้วิจัยได้ไปสังเกตสถานรับเลี้ยงเด็ก พบว่าสถานรับเลี้ยงเด็กส่วนใหญ่มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมให้แก่เด็ก เพื่อเข้ารับการศึกษาในโรงเรียนอนุบาล ลักษณะการจัดกิจกรรมและการเลี้ยงดูเด็ก ไม่มีหลักเกณฑ์การจัดที่เด่นชัด ทั้งนี้ขึ้นอยู่กับความรู้และประสบการณ์ของผู้ประกอบการสถานรับเลี้ยงเด็ก ครูหรือพี่เลี้ยงเด็กในแต่ละแห่ง สถานรับเลี้ยงเด็กส่วนใหญ่มีห้องอาหารและห้องนอนแยกออกจากห้องเล่นหรือห้องกิจกรรมเด็ก มีห้องน้ำเด็กโดยเฉพาะ มีห้องแยกสำหรับเด็กป่วย และมีบริเวณเพียงพอให้เด็กได้วิ่งเล่นมีการดูแลความปลอดภัยสำหรับเด็ก การจัดกิจกรรมและการเลี้ยงดูเด็กนั้น เด็กส่วนใหญ่ได้รับการเลี้ยงดูด้วยความเอาใจใส่จากครู หรือพี่เลี้ยงเด็ก เมื่อมีเด็กเจ็บป่วยจะมีการแจ้งให้ผู้ปกครองทราบ หากเจ็บป่วยร้ายแรงหรือเกิดอุบัติเหตุ จะมีการนำส่งโรงพยาบาลหรือคลินิกใกล้สถานรับเลี้ยงเด็กมากที่สุด สถานรับเลี้ยงเด็กส่วนใหญ่จะมีการจัดอาหารที่มีคุณค่าแก่เด็กแต่ละวัย และมีการอบรมมารยาทและสุขนิสัยที่ดีในการรับประทานอาหาร สำหรับการสร้างความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างบ้านและสถานรับเลี้ยงเด็กนั้น ส่วนใหญ่จะไม่มีการประชุมผู้ปกครอง แต่จะแจ้งปัญหาของเด็กและข่าวสารจากสถานรับเลี้ยงเด็กให้ผู้ปกครองทราบ เวลาที่ผู้ปกครองมาส่งหรือรับเด็กกลับบ้าน สถานรับเลี้ยงเด็กยังไม่มีบริการดูแลเด็กพิเศษที่มีปัญหาทางการได้ยิน ปัญหาทางสมอง หรือทางร่างกายอื่น ๆ

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to investigate the stage of education and child care management of children from birth to three years old in private child care center Bangkok Metropolis. From the questionnaire that were sent to the center directory teachers and caregivers as well as from researcher’s observations at the child care centers, findings care as follows: the purpose of most child care centers is to prepare children for kindergartens. The principles of child care activities in each center are not clear but depend on knowledge and experiences of each center staft. Most of the centers have dining room bedroom separated from the playroom and activity room, have separated children’s toilet and separated room for sick children. Enough space area provided for children’s activities. Safety is also an important concern for every center. Most of the children have had good care from the teachers and caregivers. If children are sick or accidents happened, the parents will be imformed immediately and the children will sent to the nearest hospitals or private chinics. Most of the child care centers provide nutritious diet for children. For the relationships between home and centers, there are no parents’ meeting therefore children’s problems will be imformed to parents when they come to the center in the morning or at the end of the day-all child care centers still have not yet provided services for caring the hearing-imperred children, children with mental problems or children with other kinds of special problems
