Abstract:
This study aimed to investigate the requirement for higher education study of Mathayomsuksa 6 students, Saimai district, Bangkok. The samples composed of 297 Mathayomsuksa 6 students, Saimai district, Bangkok. The instrument used to collect data was a questionnaire created by the researcher. Data were analyzed by percentage, mean, Standard Deviation, t-test, and ANOVA.
The research results were as follows:
1. The study of the requirement for higher education study of Mathayomsuksa 6 students, Saimai district, Bangkok, classified by gender, programming classes, GPA, monthly income of the parents found that:
1.1 Gender had no influence on for higher education study requirement.
1.2 The program of study different of students had their requirement for higher education study difference at .05 level of significance.
1.3 GPA had no influence on their requirement for higher education study.
1.4 The monthly income of parents had no influence on their requirement for higher education study.
2. Outcome of the study on students requirement for higher education study in both overall and each aspect were at a high level, as follows: tuition fees and sources of funding aspect the factors related to the requirement for choosing the university aspect, personal ability aspect, the background aspect, and the quality and environment of the university aspect, respectively.
