Abstract:
The main objective of this thesis is to analyse the certain broiler industry and its Bangkok market trends. Therefore, this thesis will consider the industry in the following detail broiler production, the fundamental structure of broiler producers, domestic consumption and consumers behavior, marketing activities through the specific middle-men and dealers with their problems. To achieve the thesis objectives, the first stage of research was to approach the main producers, the purposive agents and dalers such as Bangkok Livestock Processing Co., Ltd. And Yuthana Poultry Farm Co., Ltd., in Thaialnd. Also the purposive samples of agents and dealers, some the project have met the new finding that the group companies and this field of industrial groups dominates the small firm and dealers in any account of marketing activities. In the second stage, the researcher interviewed and let the target population and sample consumers filled in the questionairs. This procedure of data analysis made this thesis to be proved all data and hypothesis as the methodology stated, it is certified that the industry trends to be oligopoly and dominated the regional agents and dealers rather than the laters have had the bargaining power in the market. The third stage, this thesis collected and checked with the public sector, i.e. Board of Investment the National Economic and Social of Development Board, the Economics Division of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Department of Commercial Relations, Ministry of Commerce for privileges and information service granted to this program of research. All data were approved with correctness and confidence. Finally the research consulted with experts in this field, such as specialists of the Ministry of Commerce, Chulalongkorn University and various agronomists in private firms in order to verify the finding. This research projected and proved the hypothesis that the small firms and dealers of this field have no influence in the market, however the group Companies in broiler industry have played a big role in all marketing expecially they seems to be oligopoly in Thailand. The new experiment is the possibility of domestic and foreign market that is the new way of creating job available in rural area and in the [municipality], in order to meet the great demand of protein foodline and bringing in a great-income from exporting.
