Abstract:
The purposes of this research are: (1) the opinion of government officials in The Office of The Civil Service Commission (OCSC) about innovative organization and innovative creation competency (2) to study the difference of personal factors of government officials about innovative organization and innovative creation competency of the OCSC and (3) to find the correlation between innovative organization and innovative creation competency of the OCSC. 242 officials participated in this research. The data were collected by using both close-ended and open-ended questions. They, them were analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson Correlation Coefficient in order to answer 2 hypotheses; (1) Difference of personal factors are related perception in innovative organization and innovative creation competency and (2) A high level of innovative organization leads to high level of innovative creation competency. It was found from the study that: (1) there was a high level of overall opinion of the OCSC officials in innovative organization and innovative creation competency. (2) It was found that gender is only related to the perception in innovative creation competency, at 0.05 level while age, education, current position, work experience and sector were not found to be related to innovative organization and innovative creation competency, at 0.05 level. (3) The level of innovative organization significantly relates to innovative creation competency, at 0.01 level.
