Abstract:
The purpose of this study were to study the effectiveness of management in a real estate organization using good governance which consists of the rule of law, integrity, transparency, participation, accountability, and worthiness, and to examine the relationship between the demographic information (including gender, age, marital status, education levels, and positions) and the effectiveness of management in real estate organization using good governance. The study was conducted at Sansiri Company Limited, Thailand. There were 315 potential respondents were randomly selected from company employed at operational level managers, middle managers and top-level managers. The research instrument for this study was a five-rating scale questionnaire. Data were analyzed by a computer program. The statistics used in this research were descriptive statistic such as percentages, means, and standard deviations. The correlation coefficient t-test, F-test, and Chi-square were also analyzed.
The findings revealed that:
The overall score for opinions toward the effective management in this real estate organization using good governance was present at a high level. When considering in each aspect, worthiness, accountability, participation, transparency, the rule of law, and integrity were also present at a high level too.
In addition, the analysis compared the differences between the individual factors and the effective administration management of real estate organizations using the principles of the good governance found that the demographic information including gender, age and the different job levels were associated with varying opinions about the administration of effective management using the principles of good governance with a statistically significant different of p=. 05. Whereas, level of education and marital status were not significantly associated. Finally, based on the demographic information such as gender, age, family status, level of the education and jobs were correlated with the level of effective administration management of real estate organizations using the principles of the good governance with the statically significant at. 05.
