Abstract:
This research was carried out to determine the factors affected to the decision making in purchasing face care products for men from advertising media in Bangkok area. The research instrument was using a tool for collecting data from randomly selected 400 male consumers. Using techniques of descriptive statistics, the researcher analyzed the data collected in terms of frequency distribution, standard deviation. Hypothesis testing was conducted using the t-test and One-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) techniques, while in case of which differences were found at a statistically significant level, Scheffes method of paired comparison was utilized, as well as, R-squared (R2) statistic.
Data analysis of the demographical variables in the survey found that most of them were in age between 2025 years old with single status and being private workers under the average of monthly salary of 20,00130,000 baht. However, the differences of the demographic characteristics have affected to the decision making on advertising media to purchase the face care products for men. Furthermore, it was found that Internet and websites were among the factors with high level of Mean that affected to advertising media to make a decision on purchasing the face care products.
In terms of marketing mix, the result of statistical hypothesis test for the factors affected to the decision making in purchasing face care products for men from advertising media in Bangkok area had been found no such things in differences.
