Abstract:
The purposes of this study were 1) to study the engagement of Kawabe Technoplas (Thailand) Co., Ltd. employees to the organization, and 2) to study the engagement which came from the differential of demography, social and working environment that affected the relation of employees. Data were collected from 96 Kawabe Technoplas (Thailand) Co., Ltd. employees, through questionnaires. Statistics used in data analysis composed of percent, mean (µ), Standard Deviation (), and correlation (ρ).
The results found that the level of organizational commitment of employees in an overall engagement such as confidence in accepting the goals and values of the organization was at a high level, but their willingness to devote their best efforts to benefit the organization and their willing to be the membership with the organization was at a moderate level.
This research also found a guideline to develop the organizational commitment of employees in the following three key issues: 1) The working system should be improved to the same standard, to reduce the loss in both of time and cost and decrease the confusion between individuals and departments. 2) All employees in the corporate, from executive level to staff level should realize and place important on morality and ethics in the organization which could made the corporate operation better and encouraged employees to create an incompatible atmosphere to the workplace. And 3) Should encourage employees to have freedom to determine how to work and fix it themselves to reduce the feeling of being forced to work and bad engage with their job.
