Abstract:
This research aimed to 1) study motivation that affects work of North Bangkok University employees, and 2) compare motivation that affects work of North Bangkok University employees according to personal factors. The samples included 155 persons. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The data were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, mean, Standard Deviation, t-test, F test, and Scheffes method.
The results were as follows:
1. The motivation factors found that a level of motivation that affected work of North Bangkok University employees in an overall was at a high level. 5 factors were at high level and 1 aspect was at a moderate level, as follows: responsibility, job success, interesting in job descriptions, recognition, growth in the organization, opportunity and progress, respectively.
2. The supportive factors found that a level of motivation that effected work of North Bangkok University employees in an overall was at a moderate level. 4 factors were at high level and 3 factors were at moderate level, as follows: an appropriateness of job, appropriateness of coaching, good relationships with superiors, stability of job, policy and management of organization, work environment, and compensation and welfare, respectively.
3. The motivation factors which affected on the personnels work, classified by gender, age, and time period of work are not significant different, but in the marriage status, education level, and position are significant different at .01 and .05 level.
4. The supportive factors which affected on the personnels work, classified by gender, age, marriage status, education level, time period of work, and position had no significantly difference.
