Abstract:
This research aimed to study work motivation of employees of Phatara Thonburi Hospital C., Ltd. classified by gender, age, education level, marital status, income, side, position, and work experience. A questionnaire was used in collecting data from 210 persons. The data were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, mean, Standard Deviation, t-test, One-Way Analysis of Variance, and Scheffes test.
The results revealed that
1. The motivation factors: it was found that the motivation that affects on work of employees of Phatara Thonburi Hospital Co., Ltd. was at a high level in every aspect, as follows: job success, responsibility, interesting in job descriptions, recognition, growth in the organization, and opportunity, respectively.
2. The supportive factors: it was found that motivation that affects on work of employees of Phatara Thonburi Hospital Co., Ltd. in overall was at a high level. Considering each aspect found almost all of aspects were at high level, except compensation, as follows: job appropriateness, coaching, good relationships with supervisors, job stability, personal life, policy and management of organization, work environment, and compensation, respectively.
3. Gender, age, education level, income, side, position, and work experience had influence on the motivation factors that effects on their work at .01 and .05 level of significance, but marital status had not.
4. Gender, age, education level, marital status, income, side, position, and work experience had no influence on the supportive factors that effects on their work.
