Abstract:
This research aims 1) to study the transformational leadership of school administrators, 2) to compare the transformational leadership of school administrators in primary schools, as classified by school size, 3) to study the academic management of primary school 4) to compare the academic management of primary school, as classified by school size, and 5) to determine the relationship between the transformational leadership of the primary administration and the academic administration of primary school. The sample used in this research included teachers under Nakhonnayok. primary educational service area office The group was defined using Krejcie & Morgans table. The sample consisted of 297 people selected using the stratified random sampling method. The tool used in the research was a questionnaire with a five-level scale and a reliability of .88. The statistics used to analyze the data included percentage, average, standard deviation, and one-way analysis of variance. and Pearsons correlation coefficient. The results showed that: 1. The transformational leadership of the school administrators was, overall at a high level. The aspect with the highest results was intellectual stimulation, followed by inspiration. The aspect with the lowest average was charisma. 2. The comparison of the transformational leadership of school administrators classified according to school size did not produce any statistically significant differences. 3. The academic administration of the schools as a whole was at a high level. The aspect with the highest average was development of learning processes, followed by preparation of regulations, guidelines on academic work of the schools, and development and use of educational technology. The aspect with the lowest average was promotion and support to individuals, families, organizations, academic establishments and other educational institutions. 4. Comparisons of the academic administration by school size, showed that the academic administration of the schools, as a whole, was different at the level of statistical significance of .05. It was found that encouraging the development of learning resources and the development and use of educational technology produced significant differences at the statistically significant level of .05 5. The transformational leadership of the school administrators was found to have a positive relationship with the administration of academic institutions. The level of statistical significance was .01, and the correlation coefficient was .169 The analysis revealed that the aspects of the transformational leadership of school administrators: charisma , stimulation of the mind, and unique person, all had a positive correlation with the academic administration of the schools at the statistically significant level of .05. The correlation coefficient were .129, .151 & .158, respectively.
