Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to study the relationship and the influence of the
factors on personality, organizational atmosphere and job satisfaction toward foreign teacher
adaptability in working in bilingual chain school.
The research samples were 208 foreign teachers working for Sarasart bilingual chain
school in Bangkok and perimeters. A research instrument was a set of complete content validity
questionnaire with the reliability of 0.957. The statistics used for data analysis included Frequency,
Percentage, Mean, Standard Divination, Pearsons Product Moment Correlation Coefficient and
Regression Analysis.
The results revealed that the level of opinion toward personality, organizational
atmosphere, job satisfaction and work adaptability was at high level. The relationship among the
factors involved was at the average between 0.378 and 0.606. Moreover, it was also found that the
extroversion and the adaptability personality showed the coefficient at β = 0.215 and β = 0.304
respectively and the prediction ability was 30.30% with statistically significant difference at 0.05.
The factors involved in organizational atmosphere like administrator support, colleague support, and
sufficient resources influenced work adaptability with the coefficient at β = 0.272, β = 0.376 and β
= 0.179 respectively and the prediction ability at 50.10% with statistically significant difference at
0.05. The job satisfaction factors involved those who liked the present workplace and the schools
influenced job adaptability with statistically significant difference at β = 0.352 and 0.166
respectively and Adjusted R [superscript 2]= 0.210, p > 0.05.
