Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to study the state of pre-school instructional management in private schools, Bangkok metropolis and the parents opinions on that matter. It was found that all the private schools had their own objectives and policy in pre-school instructional management, and they can fulfill them at moderate level. Anyway, many schools still emphasize on the content rather than readiness program. Their own curriculum and internal supervision were generally used. The instructional medias were good but there were not adequate toys for the children. The teachers do not have enough time as well as proper instruments for evaluation. On the other hand, most of the schools had good student activities, enough buildings, and proper equipments, good school services and good parent and teacher relationship. The school instructional management is approved by most parents. They also suggested that the schools should emphasized more on readiness preparation.
