Abstract:
This research were to study and to compare the map skills on map-reading skills, map-writing skills, map-interpreting skills and map-using skills of Mathayom Suksa four students between science and mathematics program and foreign language program. The subjects were 1,072 Mathayom Suksa four students selected by multi-stage stratified random sampling. The findings were as follows: 1. The arithmetic mean of the scores of map-skills of Mathayom Suksa four students of science and mathematics program was 31.03 which was higher than the average score of 28.46 and that of the foreign language program which was 25.26 and lower than the average score. 2. On comparison the map skills of Mathayom Suksa foure students between science and mathematics program and foreign language program, it was found that there was a significant difference at the 0.01 level. The map skills of science and mathematics program students were higher than the map skills of foreign language program students.
